Studio Zimzala at Kula Girl Farm is a creative studio rooted in Maui, shaped by a love of interiors, flowers, natural materials and the rhythms of island living.

Founded by Christine Akins, the studio brings together interior styling, floral design and botanical inspiration through a distinctly layered and organic perspective. Drawing from life on Kula Girl Farm - a boutique protea farm on the slopes of Haleakalā - the work reflects a connection to landscape, texture, seasonality and thoughtful living.

From interiors and floral installations to curated spaces and creative collaborations, the studio approaches design with an emphasis on warmth, simplicity and natural beauty. Influenced by travel, ceramics, textiles, and the ever-changing landscape of Maui, each project is intended to feel collected, grounded and quietly refined.

At its core, the studio is about creating spaces and experiences that feel both elevated and deeply personal.
